First thing first; No, I haven’t stopped blogging, I just took a break during the worst part of my exam period. That’s over now, so I’ll be back and swinging before you know it.
On a slightly different note; last year I did a superawetastic, multiple high-five worthy, mind-exploding-with-all-the-gory-details-included, Slightly Apocalyptic Book Awards (the SABAs). This year, however, I’ll do something of the same, only with a major twist. There will be five – count five! – lists, listing the best and worst (and something more) of the following categories in 2008:
- Books
- Music
- Comics
- TV series
- Films
In addition to all this goodness, there will also be a Top Three Awesome Things of ‘08.
I would also like for anyone who does these kinds of things on their blog/L.J. or what-have-you, to do the same and link back to this post so that I can rejoice in your best picks. I won’t tag anybody – my moma told me it was rude to tag people right before Christmas – but any contribution, be it a blog post or a comment in the appropiate section, will be immensly appreciated.

What do you mean – stuff that was released this year, or stuff that I happen to have consumed/watched/read/experienced/whatever this year?
Released this year should be prioritized. Other stuff should have their own list.
